Voyvoda
Voyvoda is a balkan band playing a mix of martial industrial, electronic and synthpop. For me, there really couldn't be a more perfect mixture of sounds. Brilliant and highly recommended.Friday, October 28, 2011
Rome - Our Holy Rue/The Merchant Fleet (2011)
Upon listening to the new 2 song EP from Rome, one can immediately hear a distinct departure from their quite accessible neo-folk sound to something much more raw and industrial, reminiscent of early Death in June. That doesn't stay for long however, as the second track is similar to their more recent work, being nice and folky and making this a pretty varied and interesting EP.
