Dispirit - Rehearsal at Oboroten

Here is the first demo tape from Dispirit, featuring John Gossard of the brilliant Weaking and Asunder. "Dead as Dreams" is probably one of my favourite USBM records, however don't expect this to sound anything like that. There are hints of his previous works throughout, but Dispirit definitely exists as its own entity and should be judged on its own merits. Moving from hauntingly droning passages to barrages of chaotic and noisy dissonance, while all the time very heavy on the atmosphere, which reeks of horror and dread. Definitely a band to look out for.

Worship Black Twilight compilation

Crepusculo Negro is one of the best underground black metal labels going around at the moment, in my opinion. The recent Arizmenda tape was one of my favorite releases from last year. Actually, all of their releases have been great. Here is a sampler compilation of a number of the bands on the label at the moment.
