This is awesome. Atmospheric, ambient black metal dedicated to space, constellations and galaxies. Whoa. How could this not be incredible? Obviously for fans of Darkspace but I actually think this may be better.

Dispirit - Rehearsal at Oboroten
Here is the first demo tape from Dispirit, featuring John Gossard of the brilliant Weaking and Asunder. "Dead as Dreams" is probably one of my favourite USBM records, however don't expect this to sound anything like that. There are hints of his previous works throughout, but Dispirit definitely exists as its own entity and should be judged on its own merits. Moving from hauntingly droning passages to barrages of chaotic and noisy dissonance, while all the time very heavy on the atmosphere, which reeks of horror and dread. Definitely a band to look out for.Download
