...we can't have nice things!
Here you will find a demo for a band I was in briefly: John Laws. Alas, it didn't get very far, but I half hope it may be resurrected in the next year or so, we shall see. For fans of crusty punk and grind. This features the skills of yours truly on vox and Brad Smith (Super Fun Happy Slide, Holy Boner, etc.) on drums, bass, and bass.
Trivia: this was recorded early 2006, on a 36 degree (celsius) day. Brad had an epic hangover from the previous nights festivities, but still managed to nail the drums for each song in one take per song. Also, all drum takes were recorded using a pair of Sing Star wireless mics. DIY or GTFO!

Empire of Bone

Here's a tasty slab of Aussie grind to melt your brain. 731 were a brutal live band, consisting of various Melbourne musos from around the traps, including past (and current) members of Whitehorse, Terror Firma, Fallout, Demon Other, the list goes on....
The ep I bring to you today was recorded live @ Melbourne's PBS studios and showcases the primal fury of the band. Thanks go to Grind Fed Bathory Hen (731 vokillist) for giving the thumbs up for this post.
Check out the band here.

Land of Decay

Beanflipper. Another fantastic band from Melbourne's 90's era. Unlike Fallout, I had the fortune to see these gents on a number of occasions, as they reformed around 2005, for a little over a year.
I'm working on bringing you all three of their CDs, and, if I can track it down, I hope to eventually put the demo up here. For today, I'm posting Total Dysfunctional Collapse, what would have been most peoples' introduction to the band way back in 1995 (yep, it's THAT old).
For fans of thrash, hardcore, metal (as a generic term) and grind. Enjoy!
