Here is the latest 7" from Satan's Satyrs. This band released one of my favourite demos from last year, killer metal punk influenced by Black Flag, Electric Wizard and b-grade horror movies! Really looking forward to hearing a full-length.Download

New Black Twilight Circle offering between Volahn and Tukaaria. Volahn is great of course and the Tukaaria material is also excellent, probably some of my favourite stuff since the first Arizmenda full-length. Their sound reminds me a bit of Emperor's Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk album, mixed with some other BTC bands like Arizmenda and Volahn. Chaotic and dense as hell but also some great melodies hidden beneath.
80s raw crust from Sweden with unique vocals. Obvious Swedish sound but one can also hear Discharge in there as well.
One of my favourite hardcore/punk records from last year, along with the Kriegshog LP. These Texan dudes play a raw d-beat style of hardcore, with a latino american feel (the lyrics are in Spanish).
Another Lust For Youth split, this time with post-punkers Blessure Grave, who offer up a Misfits cover.
Spring Equinox: Moon's Milk Or Under an Unquiet Skull
Summer Solstice: Bee Stings
Autumn Equinox: Amethyst Deceivers
Winter Solstice: North
New wave/noise pop that sounds like it came straight from the 80s. Pretty melodies hidden behind a warm wall of fuzz. Give this a try if you like The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine or Siouxsie and the Banshees.
I could probably write an essay on why I love Carissa's Wierd. They are my favourite band ever, and this is one of the greatest albums ever written. I didn't post it earlier because its pretty easy to find and download, but I believe that this masterpiece should be spread to as many people as possible. Nothing even comes close within this genre of music. Hell, nothing comes close within any genre of music. Beautiful, heart-wrenching honesty.
Adelaide trad-doomers. I've seen this band play a few times and they are totally awesome. For fans of Candlemass, Dio, Manilla Road, Saint Vitus, Trouble, etc.
Latest album of satanic black thrash from these Singahell maniacs. 1 track, 38 minutes of pure goat worshipping kaos. Bang your fukking head!
Sci-fi death metal with keyboards. Could it possibly get any cooler than that?! Incredibly underrated and in my opinion an essential death metal release. Just look at that cover too.
Polish band who started as fast punk and later changed to a bleak style of post-punk. This is their debut LP from 1986, in the post-punk sound. Recommended.
